Our client, a growing and successful industrial distribution company in Metro Detroit, MI is seeking a Staff Accountant/Senior Accountant to join their team.
This position will report to the Director of Finance.
RESPONSIBILITIES Experience and understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structureMaintain monthly and year-end closing entriesExposure to working with other departments and internal leadershipMonitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracyEnsure timely and accurate AR and AP entriesAutomate manual processes when possibleSpecial Projects & Ad-Hoc reportingWork directly with external and internal audit teamsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a similar field2
