Hazel Park urgent Care Hazel Park urgent Care Hazel Park, MI Hazel Park, MI Part-time Full-time Part-time Full-time From $16 an hour From $16 an hour Duties - Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience - Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Practice Fusion - Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details - Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff members - Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information - Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality - Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed - Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents Qualifications - Previous experience in a medical office or dental receptionist role preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Proficient in using Practice Fusion or similar dental practice management software - Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide excellent patient care - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Familiarity with insurance verification and billing processes is a plus Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
