Summary:
Our Armed Security Officers are tasked with securing the premises and personnel by staying on patrol, monitoring surveillance equipment, performing building inspections, guarding entry points, and verifying visitors.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Secures the designated station with attention, discipline, and professionalism Checks in facility visitors, guests, and employees Ensures security SOPs are followed with strict adherence Completes routine patrols of the facility perimeter to ensure security checkpoints are secure Reacts and reports to onsite security related issues swiftly and without hesitation Monitors facility security cameras to ensure the safety and security of the employees and company property Ensures that security room, gate, doors, locks, rooms, camera system, etc.
are in working order during designated shifts Required Skills/Abilities:
At least 21 years old per state law Own and possess firearm and holster Experience with de-escalation training Experience with conflict resolution Experience with self-defense training Experience with crowd-control Ability to work at least one weekend day, Saturday or Sunday- full weekend flexibility strongly preferred First Aid/CPR Certified Education and
Experience:
HS Diploma or GED 2
years of experience as an armed security officer 2
years of experience within a law enforcement or similar position - strongly preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
